Welcome to YouRe. By downloading or using the YouRe application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using YouRe, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on behalf of a minor. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
YouRe is an AI-powered application that allows users to scan physical picture books and convert the text into audio using text-to-speech ("TTS") technology. Additional features may include AI-generated stories and multi-language audio output.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
YouRe allows you to scan pages from books you own. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use and digitize any content you scan. You must not use the App to infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties, including book publishers and authors.
We do not store scanned pages on our servers beyond what is necessary to process your request.
Certain features of YouRe may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The App may generate stories and audio using AI technologies including third-party models (e.g., Google Gemini). AI-generated content is provided for entertainment and educational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content for any specific use.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YouRe and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
